Season of Giving — Consumers Are Ready to Spend for the Holidays, So Offer Up the Incentive

It was just a few weeks ago that Hopewell Brewing’s Samantha Lee half-joked to Sightlines subscribers about how seasonal releases are exciting drinkers this year as a reminder about the passage of time when so much has been paused in 2020. It seems like the holidays are offering an ideal time to use this to your advantage.

Even though gift-giving holidays start in just a week (Hanukkah begins Dec. 10) it’s not too late to plan something unique that could earn you some extra attention and affinity from your fans. Specialty variety packs (already creating a unique proposition to fans) or gift packages can be compiled on-the-fly to present something special. And the best part is that if there’s any time to pull this off, this is the year thanks to how consumers are seeking seasonal reminders while simultaneously getting used to direct-to-consumer shopping in all areas of their life.

Right now is the time to identify a few ways specialty brands and packaging can give you a boost through the end of the year.
