For normal people, the “active aging” taking place among seniors provides a pseudo-mandate to remain engaged in all aspects of life, so take advantage of what comes from that mindset.
More than ever, it's about remaining "forever young," and that shows up in the way old people drink, which "is beautiful," Bourcard Nesin, a beverage analyst at Rabobank, says with no snark. "Somebody 21 is going to drink four or five times a month," he adds. "Somebody who is 60 will be 10 times a month. And they almost never drink to get drunk."
