Ashcroft is a ghost town on the outskirts of Aspen, Colorado. The former silver mining community, which sits at 9,500 feet, was finally abandoned when its last remaining citizen passed away in 1939. Ashcroft was once home to 20 saloons, but Blue Mirror is the only one still standing. We stuck our heads inside and found the atmosphere convivial enough, but the service was terrible.
