One of my best friends, Andrew Thiboldeaux of the band Pattern is Movement, came to camp with us this year. And this Monday, he'll be back in Chicago for a show at Schubas. Most recently, you've heard Andrew's particular genius on the GBH Podcast, with an original score for the intro music that we call "domestic industrial." I told him I was looking for music that made me think of the mechanical qualities of a brewery, but particularly in the morning when the boiler kicks in, the coffee pot percolates in the break room, and the garage door opens up and lets the first light of the day in. Think he nailed it? I do.
