Brian Alberts
Brian Alberts is a Seattle-based historian and writer whose secret goal is to show that beer's more American than apple pie. He's written for The Atlantic and the Washington Post, not to mention crafting stories for historical collab beers, organizing events, contributing to conferences and museum exhibits, plus the occasional podcast appearance. His specialty is 1800s beer culture and immigration in the Midwest, having learned almost as much from New Glarus, Metropolitan, and Three Floyds pilgrimages as the archive.
