We spent a couple hours at Memphis' Buccaneer Lounge last night—a delightfully out-of-time dive where Oblivians stickers adorn the bar, smoke flows like oxygen, musicians play underneath mood-lit mermaid erotica, and everyone seems just a tad more inebriated than they maybe should be. Not that we're ones to judge.
Disc 16's tracklist on Buccaneer's million-year-old Rock-ola jukebox includes songs from Johnny Cash, The Misfits, Bo Diddley, The Pretenders, Motörhead, The Clash, and the Everly Brothers—a pretty fitting mix for a place like this.
