A friend of mine, Tony Ruth of the Chicago branding firm Vessel, made a very special gift for his clients this year. With a friendly connection to the Buffalo, NY area, Tony was able to get ahold of some bottles of Souther Tier Krampus Imperial Helles Lager and Imperial Oatmeal Stout to work with.
Being an illustrator (aka Lunchbreath) and a bit of a punster, Tony and co. came up with some festive packaging for the brews, including Santa’s Stout, Yule Lager, Red Nosed Reinbeer, and Hibernation Helper. They were screen-printed and bagged in custom Santa sacks, then we took them over to one of my favorite spots, Watershed Bar in River North, for a quick photo session. And they just showed up on The Die Line! Enjoy.
