Good Beer Hunting

no. 260

With the Terrapin Beer Company team in town for a crew drive, there were plenty of high fives of both the beer and celebratory persuasion when we gathered recently at Maple Hall. Georgia’s own James, Steve, and Matt are pictured here with one of their distributor reps from Knoxville, doing what every brewery should: sharing beers with the feet on the street.

We kept the lights on one pint at a time in spite of an impending early morning, bowling under names like Lake Minnetonka, PYT, Dirty Diana, and Thriller. Most importantly, though, I rolled a turkey for the first time. And in the basement of a former J.C. Penney building built in 1898, no less.
