Christine Sismondo
Author of America Walks into a Bar, a history of taverns and saloons in the United States, Toronto-based writer and columnist Christine Sismondo has been writing about history, drinks, and health for the Toronto Star and various other publications for over 20 years. Sismondo is also the author of Prohibition, a six-part podcast series for Wondery’s American History Tellers; co-author of Canadian Spirits: The Essential Cross-Country Guide to Distilleries, Their Spirits, and Where to Imbibe Them and, most recently, with co-authors James Waller and Todd M. Casey, Cocktails, A Still Life.
