Uppers & Downers is a collaborative coffee beer series created by Good Beer Hunting's Michael Kiser and World Barista Champion Stephen Morrissey. For our first-ever London event, we're working with our host brewery, Brew By Numbers.
Featuring at least seven coffee beers, our London festival will have very limited tickets, and bring together roasters and brewers pouring experimental one-off coffee beer collaborations.
Brew By Numbers x Workshop Coffee (London)
Beavertown x Caravan (London)
Boundary x Roasted Brown (Northern Ireland)
Cloudwater x Square Mile Coffee (Manchester)
Magic Rock x Dark Woods Coffee (Huddersfield)
Northern Monk x North Star Roasters (Leeds)
Weird Beard x Has Bean (London)
Siphon Brewing x Or Coffee (Belgium)
Our goal with Uppers & Downers, going back over four years now, is to focus on coffee as a specialty brewing and blending ingredient with origin. To that end, you'll experience coffee beers in a range of unexpected styles, extraction methods, and blending techniques that showcase the innovative flavors, aromatics, and textures in the finished beer.
Here's some history on the festival.
