The Tasty Weasel—which is the affectionate nickname of the taproom at Oskar Blues' Longmont, CO facility—has always been a favorite stop of mine. It’s an exciting place, filled with the energy and noise of the brewery floor, which is separated by a single metal partition.

This trip was different, though—alongside a slew of Oskar Blues offerings were taps from Cigar City and Perrin. The three breweries now operate as a family of sorts under the Fireman Capital umbrella. There’s been much debate about mergers, acquisitions, and buyouts of late, but for now, I’m enjoying the most diverse Tasty Weasel tap lineup I’ve ever seen.
