This week, Phil McFarland (former owner/operator of Smallbar Division in Chicago) started a new chapter in his life in craft beer — he's accepted a position as Director of Sales for Half Acre Beer Company following their very recent expansion.
It's a fitting resolution for Phil. Half Acre has long been a brewery he's admired and helped build on the retail side. Now he has a chance to both learn and lead on the producer side.
