Mindy Segal, the owner of Hot Chocolate in Chicago, loves drinking beer, but not as much as she loves baking with it. So when she teamed up with Goose Island brewers to introduce Bourbon County Stout 2014 at her Bucktown dessert bar, it was no surprise to find her working hard to produce over a dozen dessert pairings. Picture pumpkin cupcakes with foie gras icing, duck confit & apple butter cake square,s and of course, unapologetically decadent BCS chocolate cupcakes. It's going to be a great winter.
